Our first order of C200 cold-formed purlins (1.8mm wall thickness, 15 tonnes) showed flange width variance of ±3mm on roughly 10% of pieces, which exceeded our EN 10162 tolerance spec. We raised this immediately with the supplier. To their credit, they responded within one business day, arranged third-party re-inspection, and replaced the non-conforming pieces within 12 days at no extra cost. Subsequent delivery was fully within spec. The resolution was handled professionally. We're cautiously proceeding with a second order — will update if quality improves consistently.
